SPD is investigating a theft that occurred last week in east Salina.
Captain Forrester says that the theft occurred between April 13 at 10 pm and April 14 at 6 am, in the 800 block of Plaza Dr. The 65-year-old victim reported that between those times, an unknown person entered his backyard and stole his electric tricycle. He was unsure of the brand, but advised that the tricycle is white in color and has baskets on the front and back.
The unknown person entered the yard and cut the lock off the bike that the victim was using to secure it. The bike is valued at $3,000, and the lock is valued at $20.
