Salina police responded to a residential burglary in the 100 block of Albany on May 3rd between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. The victim, an 80-year-old male resident, discovered upon returning home that his attached garage and back door had been forced open.
Missing items included a Seiko gold watch and a checkbook, with the residence showing signs of ransacking. Damages to the house and the watch were estimated at $300 each. Authorities are investigating and seeking surveillance footage from the area. Additionally, a piece of the suspect's mail was discovered on a pathway northwest of the home.
