East Salina Hit & Run Damages Fence

An overnight hit and run leaves fencing damaged in east Salina.

Captain Forrester says that the possible hit and run occurred sometime in the overnight hours, possibly at 4:30 am. Officers were sent the next morning and found fencing on Marymount had been struck by a vehicle. Five 7 foot sections of fence and a pillar damaged, owned by a 59-year-old Salina man.

Parts recovered from the scene return to a 2000-2006 Chevy Suburban or Tahoe, red in color. It appears that the vehicle was northbound before it left the road and struck the fence. The vehicle might have passenger side damage.
