The recent Drug Take Back Day hosted in part by the Saline County Sheriff's Officer has yielded 443.6 lbs of unused prescription drugs. SRHC, Dillons on Cloud, and Walmart were the drop off locations this year. This year's total is a little less than last year, but local authorities are still pleased with the turnout. The drugs will be buried at the landfill for proper disposal. Over 12,988.8 pounds of prescription drugs have been disposed of safely since 2013 with Drug Take Back Day.
