Driver Injured After SUV Strikes Deer on I-70 in Saline County

A single-vehicle crash occurred on Friday at approximately 7:45 AM on eastbound I-70 near milepost 242.8, about 200 feet west of the Mulberry Creek Bridge in Saline County.

The crash involved a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Venessa J. Frost, 21, of Lincoln, Kansas. Frost was traveling eastbound when her vehicle struck a deer on the highway.

Frost was transported to Salina Regional Medical Center with suspected minor injuries.
