The day was brimming with activities for all ages, creating a magical atmosphere that captivated the holiday spirit. Children eagerly wrote their letters to Santa, crafted Christmas cards, and marveled at a live nativity scene featuring donkeys and sheep. The charm extended further with a delightful array of live animals from Rolling Hills Zoo, adding an extra layer of excitement to the festivities.
Visitors indulged in the sweet aroma of freshly baked sugar cookies, sipped on hot chocolate, and relished in the joyous atmosphere of the Smoky Hill Museum's Christmas Open House. Face painting added a splash of color and creativity to the event, enhancing the overall merriment.
The 57th annual See & Sell Holiday Market at Tony's Pizza Events Center, boasting over 200 booths, provided the perfect opportunity for early Christmas shoppers to find unique gifts. Not only did attendees discover delightful treasures, but the ticket sales also contributed to a good cause, with proceeds benefiting Girl Scouts in over 80 Kansas counties.
Meanwhile, Kenwood Hall hosted an annual toy show, captivating both young and old with an enchanting display of toys and holiday delights.
