On May 28 at 7:30 am, police were dispatched to a domestic call in the 400 block of North Broadway Boulevard. A 24-year-old female reported that at 7:20 am, a known individual, Rylan Whitmer, 22, had assaulted her, breaking her nose, and then fled the scene.
Officers located Whitmer under the Broadway viaduct and arrested him. He was found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Whitmer has requested charges of aggravated battery, criminal threat, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
