Vehicle/Deer Collision Injures Salina Woman

The Kansas Highway Patrol worked an injury accident on Tuesday, November 14 in Saline County.

The KHP report indicates that the accident occurred at 9 pm, on I70 milepost 244 East Bound, or I70 at N. Hedville Rd. A 2023 Chevy Malibu, driven by a 61-year-old Salina woman, was Eastbound on I70 when a deer emerged from the South ditch and struck the vehicle.

The driver was transported to SRHC by EMS with a suspected minor injury. She was reported to have been wearing a seat belt.
