At Tuesday's County Commission Meeting, Commissioners heard a request for action from the Livestock & Expo Center, regarding Kenwood Hall Doors.
Request for Action
The request for action was to award Hutton the bid of two walk through doors and frames on the West side of Kenwood Hall. Bids were received and opened June 2nd, 2023, at noon and only three bids were turned in. Specs were met by all three. These two doors were noted on the Expo Center upgrades to Kenwood Hall but are not able to hold out until that phase. Staff has done as much as possible to hold them off, but they are becoming more and more of a safety issue.
Budget Impact
$670,375 currently remains earmarked in CIP for Livestock & Expo Center upgrades, approval of this bid would leave $656,503.
The motion was approved 4-0. Commissioner Hay had recused himself.
