City of Salina Public Works Open House

The City of Salina is taking steps to reduce waste and advance sustainability in Saline County by developing a strategic plan that focuses on the principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. To ensure the plan incorporates the priorities and initiatives of local residents and business owners, an informal online survey was conducted.

To share the results of the survey and discuss the possibilities of the strategic plan, the City of Salina's Public Works Department, along with SCS Engineers, will host an open house. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 29th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Salina Public Library's McKenzie Center located at 308 W. Elm Street (northeast corner of Elm & Ninth Streets).

Saline County citizens and business owners are encouraged to attend the event, ask questions about the survey results and discuss the plan going forward. The City of Salina would like to express their gratitude to those who took the time to complete the survey and for their interest in making Salina and Saline County more sustainable.
