After a temporary closure due to excessive rainfall, the Landfill is now ready to accept waste. However, due to muddy conditions, limb drop-off services remain temporarily unavailable. The City will continue to monitor site conditions and will notify the public when limb drop-off can safely resume.
ORIGINAL: The Landfill received an excess of rainfall last night, July 21, affecting the area designated for safe work during wet conditions. The Landfill crew is working diligently to create a new area for operations to start as soon as possible.
A delay of 1-2 hours is expected this morning. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
