With her extensive experience and remarkable skills, Jaclyn will spearhead several crucial initiatives, ensuring the growth and prosperity of our community.
In her new position, Jaclyn will oversee the implementation of workforce development strategies and play a pivotal role in retaining and expanding local businesses. Collaborating closely with secondary and post-secondary schools in the area, she will forge strong partnerships to enhance educational opportunities for the future workforce. Furthermore, Jaclyn will provide invaluable support and assistance to our employers, helping them thrive in a dynamic economic landscape.
With her passion for entrepreneurship, Jaclyn will also be at the helm of innovative programs, including Project OPEN, the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge, and the esteemed Charlie Walker Pitch Challenge. These initiatives empower aspiring entrepreneurs and nurture their talents, fostering a vibrant business ecosystem within the community.
Prior to joining the Chamber, Jaclyn served as a dedicated middle school educator, making a positive impact on countless young minds. For the past three years, she played an active role at South Middle School, while also demonstrating her leadership skills as a coach for middle school basketball and high school softball teams. Relocating from Topeka, Jaclyn and her husband, Cole, have embraced Salina as their new home.
