Central High School Theatre is proud to present the Killer Karaoke Cadaver musical comedy murder mystery dinner theatre, written by Salina's very own Bill & Debbie Weaver. Taking place at Martinelli's Little Italy located at 158 South Santa Fe in Salina, the show will run on both Saturday, April 15th and Sunday, April 16th. This event is a fundraiser for thespian troupe 639, with all proceeds going towards funding the students' upcoming trip to the International Thespian Festival in Bloomington, Indiana this June. This year marks the third year in a row that Central High School Theatre students have placed first in the Kansas Thespian Festival Chapter Select One Act competition, qualifying them to participate in the festival. The winning one act, Trifles, was student-directed and the success of the show is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire troupe. Synopsis of the Play
THE STORY: The mystery surrounds an annual karaoke contest. A contestant has cheated her way to the championship for ten years in a row. If she wins this year, she could buy the failing KC’s Karaoke Cabin. There are some that will stop at nothing to stop her…even murder! This is your chance to test your deducting skills and have a wonderful evening.
