On Saturday, April 22, Rolling Hills Zoo will host a Party for the Planet event in honor of Earth Day. The event aims to raise awareness about the challenges that our planet is facing.
Throughout the day, Keeper Encounters will highlight the wildlife conservation efforts undertaken by the zoo. Visitors can also stop by the Recycle | Reuse | Re-purpose booths to gather some great ideas on how to reduce waste and make a positive impact on the environment.
In addition to learning tips on environmental conservation, attendees can get up close and personal with some of the zoo's Ambassador Animals at the Animal Meet-&-Greets. Children can also enjoy the interactive "Touch-a-Truck" exhibit.
