Card Skimmer Found on Gas Pump in North Salina

On Sunday, October 8, officers were sent to Petro 2, 2125 N 9th, for a credit card skimmer found on a gas pump. An employee had discovered the device while cleaning the pump, noticing a piece on the exterior of the pump that didn't look like it belonged. Upon looking closer, the employee found the skimmer attached to the front of the pump, with a piece also inside the pump. Similar wiring was also found at another pump.
