Tri-Rivers Fair Invites Artists from Five County Area to Apply for Show & Sell Artist Showcase
The Tri-Rivers Fair is launching an exciting opportunity for you to showcase your talent at the Show and Sell Artist Showcase. Rita Diester, Tri-Rivers Fair Board member in charge of the show, emphasized that this event provides a unique platform for artists to connect their passion for art with the region's agricultural heritage.
The highly anticipated Tri-Rivers Fair Show and Sell Artist Showcase will take place on Friday, August 11, and Saturday, August 12, from 10 am-8 pm. The event will be hosted in the lobby of the Tony's Pizza Event Center. To apply for one of the ten available spaces, interested artists can access the application through the Fair Events menu on the Tri-Rivers Fair website, tririversfair.org. Simply click on the Art Show section and follow the link in the first paragraph of the call package to fill out the application. Please note that a $25 entry fee will be collected from each selected artist/craftsman before the show.
Deister emphasized that the Tri-Rivers Fair aims to provide an affordable and family-friendly atmosphere where emerging artists can showcase and sell their artwork. All artwork displayed at the event will be priced at $100 or less, ensuring accessibility for visitors.
The call for artists welcomes both traditional and contemporary fine art and craft, including but not limited to ceramics, woodworking, painting, sculpture, and fiber arts. Artists who are interested in providing live demonstrations during the two-day show and sell event can indicate their preference in the application.
Selected artists will be notified of their acceptance via email by Friday, June 30. Don't miss this chance to be a part of the Tri-Rivers Fair Show and Sell Artist Showcase and share your creativity with the community.
