A central Salina business reported a burglary over the weekend.
Captain Forrester says that a maintenance employee for Casey's, 215 W Crawford, reported to work on Sunday, April 9, at 8:45 am. He allegedly found the north entrance door doorknob to the car wash office broken. It appeared as though the doorknob had been drilled through. Once inside the building, the subject(s) attempted to gain entry into a coin exchange machine, causing $200. Casey's is also missing an Makita electric drill worth $50. No entry was made into the coin box.
