Burglary at Diehl Construction Leads to Arrest

On August 6, 2024, at 11:59 am, police responded to a burglary report at Diehl Construction, located at 521 Bishop. A witness on 10th Street observed a suspect entering the business through a partially opened garage door while an employee was away for lunch and called the authorities.

Officers arrived on the scene and found Isaac Miller, 45, of Salina, outside the business. Upon investigation, they discovered a stolen flashlight from the business in Millerโ€™s possession. Additionally, a small amount of methamphetamine fell out of Miller's pocket while he was being searched. Miller attempted to destroy the evidence by stepping on the meth and resisted arrest.

Miller was taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including burglary, theft, possession of methamphetamine, and interference with law enforcement.
