The Kansas Department of Transportation has closed both westbound and eastbound I-70 from Exit 244 at Hedville Road near Salina to the Colorado border due to accumulating snow, strong winds, and blizzard conditions causing low visibility in western Kansas.

- U.S. 36 – Phillipsburg to the Colorado border (both directions)
- U.S. 40 – Sharon Springs to the Colorado border (both directions)
- U.S. 83 – K-383 junction to the Nebraska border
- U.S. 50 – Dodge City to Cimarron
- U.S. 283 – Ness to Jetmore
- K-96 – Alexander to Ness City
- K-156 – Garden City to K-123
- U.S. 56 – K-23 intersection to Ensign
- U.S. 83 – Scott City to Oakley
- U.S. 83 – Sublette to U.S. 190
- U.S. 54 – Meade to Plains
- K-23 – Dighton to Shields
- All highways in Rush County
KDOT urges motorists not to attempt to bypass interstate closures using secondary routes. Non-essential travel should be delayed until conditions improve.
