For the third year in a row, the Street Art & Mural Festival, Boom! Salina, has begun downtown and features artists from all over the world. The festival is funded through private and crowd-sourced donors, and Boom! Salina is backed by the Salina Kanvas Project.
The larger vision of Boom! Salina is to bring in street artists and muralists from around the world to enhance the visual landscape of our city, transforming downtown Salina into a vibrant outdoor live art gallery.
Several artists have already been working hard over the weekend, transforming the walls of downtown Salina. You can stop by and view these artists at work throughout the week. Also, at 6 pm, an artist panel and Meet & Greet will be held at the Salina Arts Center on Friday, October 4th.
