Advantage Trust Company, recently recognized by the Salina Journal as "Best Financial Planning Services" and "Best Investment Firm," has announced the addition of three experienced financial professionals to its growing team.
The company has hired Jason Bird as Vice President and Investment Officer, Melissa Pivonka as Investment Operations Officer, and Kyler Sager as Trust and Real Estate Officer. The new hires bring decades of combined experience in financial services, wealth management, and banking to the Salina-based firm.
Bird joins ATC with more than 10 years of experience in financial services and wealth management. A Kansas State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning, he specializes in investment management and fiduciary guidance for individuals, families, and institutions. Beyond his professional work, Bird serves on the City Council in Minneapolis, Kansas, and volunteers with the Ottawa County Community Foundation and First Tee – Salina. He and his wife have three children.
Pivonka brings 18 years of financial industry experience to her new role, including five years at another Salina-area financial institution. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University in 2006. Outside of work, Pivonka enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, and spending time with her niece, three nephews, and friends.
Sager, a Salina native and 2015 Southeast of Saline High School graduate, previously served as Branch President and Lender at a Gypsum bank. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from Kansas State University in 2019. Sager and his wife, Brooklyn, have two children. An outdoor enthusiast, he also follows K-State athletics and the Denver Broncos.
