The Saline County Sheriff's Investigation Unit successfully thwarted an alleged attempt to get drugs into the Saline County Jail. Following an investigation, law enforcement intercepted two drug drop-offs inside the courthouse elevator. On Friday, November 3, 37-year-old Maximilian Wilson was arrested in connection to this investigation, facing requested charges of two counts of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, conspiracy to traffic contraband into a correctional facility, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wilson's wife, 36-year-old Kelli Wilson, who was already behind bars for unrelated charges, also has a requested charge of conspiracy to traffic contraband into the correctional facility, in connection to this incident.
