Salina Breakfast and Noon AMBUC's clubs jointly sponsored the Great Plains Region AMBUCS conference, on May 4-6, at Homewood Suites and The Temple. A total of 148 attendees from seven neighboring states of Kansas participated in the conference. As part of their community service initiative, the groups constructed a handicap ramp at the back of Ashby House's new shelter at 150 S. 8th. This marks the 572nd ramp by the Salina Breakfast AMBUCS club. The construction of the ramp commenced at 8:30 am on May 5. The Salina community is grateful for the support provided by both clubs to various organizations in the region.
