Over 500 motorcycles and their riders carried over 600 toys across the heart of Salina on Sunday, as part of the annual 2021 Toy Run.
The bikers lined up in style in the Central Mall parking lot, and they all had one destination: Tony's Pizza Events Center. Toys were strapped to the bikes, and one rider in particular was festively dressed.
Santa Claus himself led the way, riding in the back of a pickup truck with toys much too big for the motorcycle sleighs.
An escort by Salina's finest led the team up 9th St and through Salina, until their destination was reached. Residents expected the day were enjoying the sight from lawn chairs in front yards, wrapped up in blankets and watching from their vehicles.
Once the riders reached Tony's Pizza Events Center with the toys, Ashby House and DVACK were eagerly awaiting the lot, in an effort to distribute the presents to their clients this holiday season.
