UPDATE: Captain Forrester says the motorcycle wreck occurred on Thursday, May 18 at 10:40 am, at the intersection of 9th and Saturn. A 19-year-old male was riding a 2015 Yamaha Motorcycle southbound on 9th, when he lost control of the vehicle. The motorcycle struck the median, causing the wreck. The rider was taken to SRHC with broken ribs and a broken leg. He was wearing a helmet.
ORIGINAL: At 10:44 am on Thursday, May 18, first responders were on the scene of a vehicle accident in south Salina. Reports indicate a motorcycle is involved, and there were obvious outside injuries. Salina311 will have more information as it becomes available.
