UPDATE: The Kansas Highway Patrol worked a 2-vehicle accident on Friday, June 23 in northern Saline County.

The KHP report indicates that the accident occurred 6:15 pm, on N Ohio St at Shipton Rd, approximately 2 miles north of Salina. A 2019 Buick Enclave driven by a 72-year-old Salina man, and a 2022 Icebear Motorcycle driven by a 77-year-old Salina man, were southbound on Ohio, north of Granville Rd. The Buick rear-ended the motorcycle.

The driver of the Buick had no apparent injuries. The motorcycle rider was taken to SRHC with suspected serious injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.


ORIGINAL: At 6:15 pm on Friday, June 23, first responders were dispatched to the area of Shipton Rd and Granville Rd for a 2-vehicle accident. Reports indicate that it might involve a motorcycle.
