2-Vehicle Accident in North Salina Involving SPD Vehicle

Just before 5:30 on Monday, November 21, a two-vehicle collision unfolded in the 700 block of N Santa Fe. KHP documented the incident involving a black Hyundai Elantra departing a business parking lot. The driver, attempting a left turn onto Santa Fe, allegedly cut in front of a visibly marked SPD SUV patrol unit heading north on Santa Fe. Although the involved citizen reported potential leg pain, no transportation was required. Fortunately, the officer emerged unharmed from the incident.
