It's time to Lace Up for Littles! On Saturday, November 18, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Salina's 13th Annual Frosty Fun Runs is back. This family friendly event kicks off Salina Downtown's Holiday Festivities while benefiting youth mentoring programs. This year's event will include the Frosty 5 Mile Run, Frosty 5K Run/Walk, the Merry Mile, the Kid's Santa Sprint, and a new Couch Potato option. All proceeds from the event benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Salina's mentoring programs, which provide Salina area children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Salina and Shane McClintock of 99KG will be kicking off the morning fun at the City Lights Stage (corner of Santa Fe and Ash). Races start at 9 am with the Santa Sprint starting around 10 am. Each registered participant receives an event shirt, custom completion medal, cookies, bananas, hot chocolate, and race photos (available for download).
