Woman Finds Bullet Hole in Siding of Her House

In an incident that occurred sometime between June 5th at 10 pm and June 6th at 5:30 pm, a house on the 300 block of Sunset Drive was believed to be shot at. The victim, an 83-year-old woman, had gone outside on June 6th to retrieve her trash cart from her driveway when she discovered a hole in the siding on the west side of her residence. She recognized it to possibly be a bullet hole.

The police officer at the scene identified a slug from an unknown caliber bullet lodged within the hole. Fortunately, the woman was unharmed. A neighbor reported hearing what they had believed to be firecrackers at 10 pm on the 5th.
