Woman Arrested After Man Stabbed with BBQ Fork

In the early hours of January 7th, at 7:30 am, officers received a report from a third party regarding a potential domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Derby. The reporting party, who was from out of state, had contacted dispatch while speaking with the victim and could hear the disturbance unfolding. Officers responded to the scene, where they discovered a 34-year-old male victim with a stab wound to his right leg.

According to accounts, during an argument, 29-year-old Jesci Kent allegedly stabbed the victim using a BBQ fork. Subsequently, Kent was arrested on requested charges of aggravated battery, domestic battery, and damage to property. The victim received on-site medical attention.
