Weekend Pursuit through East Salina

On Sunday, October 29, at 1:42 pm, an officer spotted an individual who was believed to have a municipal court warrant for their arrest. This was at Casey's located in the 1100 block of E Iron.

The officer turned into the gas station parking lot. The subject's vehicle then made a turn, heading southbound on Ohio Street.

The officer initiated a traffic stop, and the vehicle fled on the following route:

• Southbound in the 100 block of S Ohio
• East on Greeley
• North on Missouri
• East on Gypsum
• North on Indiana
• Heading west on Iron at a speed of 80 mph

Due to the high speed, the officer made the decision to terminate the pursuit.
