Weekend Accident Results in Death of Driver

On Saturday, January 20^th, at about 2:15 AM, Officers responded to the 400 block of N. Broadway in reference to an accident. It was determined 2005 Ford Mustang had gone off the road and ended up in a frozen creek. The driver, 24 year old Thomas A Brandt was pronounced deceased at the scene. The accident was called in by a witness who observed the accident. Speed and alcohol are believed to be determining factors in the crash. The investigation is still on-going.
