UPDATED: Weather Event Causes Temporary Re-Routing of 9-1-1 Calls in Salina and Saline County
Update: Salina/Saline County 9-1-1 System Restored to Full Functionality
As of 2:34 PM, the Salina/Saline County 9-1-1 system has been fully restored and is now operating normally. Following a temporary re-routing of calls to Dickinson County due to a weather-related event, all emergency services in Saline County and the city of Salina have returned to regular operations.
ORIGINAL: Due to a recent weather event, 9-1-1 calls from the Salina/Saline County Dispatch Center are being temporarily re-routed to Dickinson County. This may cause delays in Police, Fire, and EMS response times in Saline County and the city of Salina.
