Vehicle Drives onto Salina Airport Runway; Driver Arrested

On April 18th, just before 6:30 am, police responded to the Salina Airport at 3237 Arnold Avenue for a vehicle on the runway. An airport employee was entering inside the fence of the runway through an access gate when a silver 2003 Ford F-150 followed the employee through the gate.

The driver proceeded onto the runway. When police responded they found the vehicle still on the runway. The driver was identified as Sindee Boumsombath, a 42-year-old female, of Salina. She was arrested for trespassing and revoked drivers license, and also cited for traffic violations.
