Two-Vehicle Accident At Salina Intersection Leaves Woman With Minor Injuries

On Tuesday, December 21 at 9:45 am, Salina Police and EMS responded to a two-vehicle accident at Ohio and Republic.

A 2003 Pontiac Grand Am driven by a 21-year-old male from Salina was northbound on Ohio. Several witnesses reported that he disobeyed the stop light and struck a 2018 Ford Transit Van being driven westbound on Republic by a 48-year-old female, also from Salina.

The drive of the Ford had minor injuries and was transported to SRHC by EMS.

The driver of the Pontiac was cited for failure to stop at stop light.
