Trucker Loses $2,600 in North Salina

In an unfortunate incident on Thursday, August 10th at 7:38 pm, a theft transpired at the Pilot gas station located on 1944 N 9th Street. The victim, a 53-year-old trucker from Missouri, recounted his encounter with unidentified individuals that led to the loss of $2,600 in cash.

According to the trucker's statement, while he was near his truck, a group of individuals approached him and initiated a conversation. The suspects allegedly offered him an opportunity to double his money in the little game they had going, which prompted the trucker's interest. The trucker agreed to participate.

The victim followed the suspects into the building. Once inside, he retrieved the sum of $2,600 in cash. However, the situation quickly took a turn for the worse. As the trucker was handling the money, one of the individuals swiftly snatched the entire roll of cash from his possession. The suspects then fled the scene, leaving the trucker empty-handed.

One suspect was described by the trucker as a taller white male, with blonde hair and wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
