Tools Missing in Storage Unit Burglary

A Salina man is missing power tools after a southwest Salina storage unit burglary.

Captain Forrester says that the burglary occurred sometime between February and May of 2023, in the 2700 block of Centennial. A 68-year-old Salina man says that sometime between those dates, someone broke into his storage unit. He's missing the following:

  • 41x15 in stainless steel tool box with tools inside, $1,000
  • numerous other hand and power tools, $2,000
  • blue, gas powered portable generator, $450

Total loss is estimated at $3,450.
