Rural Saline County Resident Suffers Loss of $2,270 in Equipment
In an incident that took place at 2670 N Ohio, a theft occurred from a parked vehicle belonging to an individual who worked at the site. The incident was reported to have taken place between June 21 and June 22.
Upon returning to work on June 22, the vehicle owner made the discovery that a lockable tool box, affixed to a 2002 GMC truck, had the lock cut off. The stolen items included five chainsaws, a power pole saw, and a leaf blower. Among the stolen chainsaws, four were of the Stihl brand, while the remaining was an Echo brand. The power pole saw was also a Stihl product, and the leaf blower was manufactured by Husqvarna.
The total value of the stolen goods, including the missing padlock and tools, amounts to a substantial $2,270.
