We believe that individuals in the community should be able to create local content about topics they care about and capture some of the value that is generated.
Salina311 was never intended to be a replica of the old media institutions. Now, we're excited to announce the Salina311 Creators Program.
If there's a local topic that you are interested in and you want to create content around, you can do so on Salina311 and earn the revenue that is generated.
You will have access to publish on Salina311, you will be able to earn money based on the number of members who view your content.
For each member who views your content, you'll earn $0.07. For example, if you were to publish a story/photos that every person in Saline County viewed (~50,000), you would earn $3,500.
Photos and written content will also appear in the print newspaper.
Content can be:
- Photography
- Videos
- Articles (Written)
- Digital Art
The only restriction is that the content has to be focused on topics within Saline County, or having an impact on Saline County.
