Southeast of Saline Wins State (Photo Gallery)

Southeast of Saline came from behind to win the State Championship Friday night 36 -28 at the Gowans Stadium in Hutchinson. They narrowly defeated the two-time defending champions Nemaha Central with a go-ahead touchdown with 11 seconds left in the game.

The Trojans are 13 - 0 for their first-ever perfect season and the second-ever state title in the program's history. This is Coach Mitch Gebhardt's 15th year as head coach.
