FIRST TEAM

2023

Nakari Morrical-Palmer

Nakari is one of the best passers I've had a chance to coach. His vision and unselfishness allowed him to finish with the most assists in Southeast history for a career (320), as well as in a single season (114). He was able to alter games in a variety of ways whether it be scoring, assisting, rebounding, or altering/blocking shots. It was a joy coaching Nakari and watching him mature and develop over the past four years.
Coach Bryson Flax

Ethan Waters

Ethan is such a good all around player and he has a really high basketball IQ. He was our best shooter but he also had the ability to drive and get to the basket. Ethan was so easy to coach and a good teammate.
Coach Ryan Modin

Eli Sawyers

Eli has proven for a few years now that he's one of the premier players in the area. He's a skilled 6'5" kid that can score the ball a lot of different ways. He's a competitor and a good teammate. It's been nothing but a pleasure to work with him over the past four years. His hard work and dedication to basketball has allowed him to rank 3rd all time in career scoring at Southeast with 1,374 points.
Coach Bryson Flax

Michael Matteucci (Sacred Heart)

Michael's 2.5 turnover to assist ratio is statistically impressive. Combine that with his 14.2 ppg and 4.7 rpg on 53% shooting and you have a top guard, but you still only have half the picture. Michael's competitiveness everyday and on-ball defense are second to none. He is a natural leader who holds himself accountable to the highest standard.
Coach Brian Gormley

Brogan Rowley

Brogan is a tremendous athlete and had a great season for us. With two more seasons in his high school career he has a ton of upside and will be a huge piece to our continued success. He rightfully racked up a lot of awards this season for his achievements and helped lead us to our best season in a very long time at 13-9.
Coach Marty Wendell
