Salina Woman Arrested in Weekend DUI

At midnight on Sunday, August 6, officers responded to a vehicle accident in the 900 block of E Republic.

On arrival, officers reportedly found a 2012 GMC Terrain driven by 20-year-old L'leana Jones. The GMC had been driving westbound, in the rain, when the vehicle's wipers allegedly malfunctioned, causing Jones to veer over and strike a black Ford F150 Truck. The Ford was parked on the side of the street.

Jones allegedly appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Marijuana was also allegedly found in the vehicle. Jones was arrested on the following requested charges:

  • DUI
  • Possession of Alcohol by a Minor
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Inattentive Driving
