Salina Police Investigate Shots Fired at Fairdale Apartment

On June 18, at 2:20 am, police responded to a shots fired call at an apartment complex located at 737 Fairdale Street. A 23-year-old male reported that he was in his bedroom with his 24-year-old girlfriend and their 1-year-old child when he heard gunshots. The sound was followed by his window shattering, causing $200 in damage. The incident occurred in a second-floor apartment.

Witnesses reported hearing a vehicle speeding off after the shots. Other residents also reported hearing the gunfire. No shell casings were found at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
