This week, our bicycle unit members will begin patrolling downtown. They will be doing so throughout the summer. Feel free to engage with these officers as they love conversing with those they serve!
The Salina Police Department started having patrol units on foot walking the downtown area starting in 2021. They have been a welcome feature of the Salina downtown environment and the community has appreciated the additional safety foot units in the downtown area have provided.
