A Salina man was arrested on requested drug charges and two active warrants on New Years Day.

Officers were sent to the Ambassy Motel, 217 S Broadway, on Saturday, January 1, at 3:45 pm.

It was here that they made contact with a subject, Allen Marlow, a 28-year-old male from Salina. Marlow reportedly had a warrant out for his arrest. Marlow allegedly opened the door just far enough for officers to speak to him and then attempted to shut the door on the officers.

Officers were reportedly able to get the door open, at which point Marlow was arrested. He was allegedly in possession of a meth pipe, and in the room officers allegedly located some additional meth, weighing a little over 1 gram.

Marlow was arrested on the following requested charges:

  • Possession of meth
  • No drug tax stamp
  • possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Interference with LEO
  • Disorderly conduct

Marlow's active warrants were reportedly from Saline County District Court and an outside agency.
