Salina Fire Department Celebrates Two Firefighters Completing First Year

On Monday morning, the Salina Fire Department held a traditional ceremony to honor two probationary firefighters who successfully completed their first year of service. Firefighter-EMT Trevor Gunelson and Firefighter-EMT Seth Myers received their badges during the ceremony, which included the time-honored tradition of climbing up on the old stepstool and reciting the Firefighter's Prayer during roll call.
