The City of Salina Public Works Department will begin replacing a section of roadway on Edison Place near Ohio Street starting Tuesday, April 29.
During the construction period, access to Edison Place will be closed, along with one lane of southbound traffic on Ohio Street. Motorists needing to reach Edison Place will be detoured via Westchester Drive.
City officials expect the repairs to be completed within two to three days, weather permitting.
Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time when passing through this area during the construction period.
