Residential Fire in Central Salina

SFD UPDATE: Early this morning crews were called to a reported Residential Fire in the 600 Block of W. Prescott. Upon arrival crews found heavy fire and smoke coming from the second story of a residential structure. Crews made an aggressive interior attack and quickly stopped the fire spread. Primary search was completed on the structure with it being all clear. Cause of the fire is still under investigation.

At 6:15 am on Saturday, February 24, Salina Fire was dispatched to the 600 block of W Prescott for a residential fire. Heavy flames are visable. As of 6:30 am, all humans are reported to be out of the house, however, there may be a pet still inside. Salina311 will have more information as it becomes available.
