Residential Burglary in Southeast Salina Results in $6,000 in Stolen Property

Salina, KS – A residential burglary in the 2700 block of Shoreline in Salina resulted in approximately $6,000 worth of property stolen, including cash and high-end designer purses. The incident occurred between 9 p.m. on the 20th and 1:30 a.m. on the 21st.

The burglary was discovered by a 56-year-old male resident at around 1:40 a.m., when he found that a glass door to his home had been shattered, granting the suspects entry. The burglars reportedly ransacked the house before fleeing with around $3,000 in cash and an additional $3,000 worth of luxury purses. The stolen purses were from brands including Coach, Louis Vuitton, and Dolce & Gabbana.

The incident took place in the southeast area of Salina, near an old sand pit, just south of Magnolia. No suspects have been identified, and law enforcement is currently investigating.

Residents in the area are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the Salinas Police Department.
