Republic & Funston/Sheridan Intersection Replacement

On Monday, September 11, Lancaster Construction of Salna began removing and replacing the pavement at the intersection of Republic and Funston/Sheridan.

Until the work is completed, Republic, Funston, and Sheridan will be closed to thru traffic at the intersections nearest to the work site. During construction, motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow a little more time to reach their destinations.

Weather permitting, the work should be completed in 3 weeks.

The $60,000 project is a remnant of the City of Salina's $4.7M 2022 street maintenance capitol improvement program.
